Once upon a time, there was a great forest consumed by a fire. All the animals fled in terror, feeling helpless as they watched their home burn. Amidst the chaos, a small hummingbird decided to take action. The tiny bird flew to a nearby river, picked up a drop of water in its beak, and flew back to the raging fire, dropping the water onto the flames. The bird repeated this tirelessly, drop after drop. The other animals watched and mocked the hummingbird, saying, « What do you think you can achieve with such small drops of water? » The hummingbird replied, « I’m doing my part. »

My Goals

Inspired by this tale of the hummingbird, I developed a game designed to guide participants in becoming eco-citizens over the span of 12 months. This initiative was created to motivate individuals to engage in sustainable practices without inducing guilt, as I believe that true commitment to environmental action must come from within.

With the development and promotion of the Eco-Citizen Game, I received the Excellence Award in Geography at my high school.
